TRADITIONAL CHIROPRACTIC ADJUSTMENTS
A hands-on spinal manipulation/adjustment that Dr. Weber has had very successful results with for over 20 years. For those who prefer a low force technique without the twisting, turning, or “cracking”, check out the PRO Adjuster.
DIVERSIFIED CHIROPRACTIC
The primary treatment technique used by chiropractors, diversified chiropractic is best known as spinal manipulation. The technique consists of short, fast force applied to specific joints with the end result being additional movements and a stretch of the surrounding muscles.
EXTREMITY MAIPULATION/ADJUSTING
The application of chiropractic manipulation/adjustment to the joints other than those of the spine, such as, shoulder, elbow, wrist/hand/finger, hip, knee, ankle/foot/toe.
FLEXION/DISTRACTION
A chiropractic technique that uses mechanical and hands-on manipulation/adjustment utilizing a table where the spine is tractioned and flexed forward.
ULTRASOUND
Therapeutic ultrasound is a form of deep heat therapy created by sound waves. When applied to soft tissues and joints, the sound waves are a form of micro-massage that help reduce swelling, increase blood flow, and decrease pain, stiffness, and spasms.
EMS (ELECTRICAL MUSCLE STIMULATION)
Often referred to as "muscle stim," the therapy involves low levels of electrical impulses delivered to the injured, painful tissues to reduce pain and speed healing. Often described by patients as a pleasant, "tingling" sensation," these impulses stimulate the body to release natural pain relievers, called endorphins which promote faster healing. Chronic pain and strains or sprains of the muscles, joints, and soft tissues of the spine and extremities often benefit from EMS.
WELLNESS CARE
A treatment plan that seeks to prevent disease, promote health, prolong and enhance the quality of life, and prevent deterioration of a chronic condition.
